Heaven for Today: 60 Devotions on How the Life to Come Changes Your Life Right Now

The Bible Study invited you to study Heaven.  The devotional invites you to feel it.

The hope of heaven is something every believer holds onto with fervency and imagination. But what if heaven wasn’t only about the hope you hold for a great celestial tomorrow? What if heaven could change your life today?
In Heaven for Today, beloved Bible teacher, speaker, and author Jennifer Rothschild offers 60 devotions to help you engage heaven now. Yes, the reality of heaven will be unveiled for you day by day in this book―but so will your ability to enjoy little slices of eternity right where you sit, contemplating its wonders and being comforted by its promises in your real life.
As Jennifer says, heaven is your true and better country. And as you sojourn with her through this daily devotional for women, expect your eyes to be opened to the place of heaven, your faith to be opened to the promise of heaven, and your heart to be opened to the person of heaven―Jesus.

FAQs:

Q: Who is this devotional best for?

A: Heaven for Today is written for women who want their daily life shaped by the reality of eternity rather than just the pressure of the present. It’s especially meaningful for women navigating difficulty, loss, or a season of spiritual dryness ― and for any woman who has wondered what heaven actually has to do with the Tuesday that’s waiting for her.

Q:  How is the devotional different than Jennifer Rothschild’s Heaven Bible study?

A:  Heaven for Today isn’t a repeat of her Heaven Bible study; it is a brand-new companion for the journey. Where the study invites you to study Heaven, this devotional invites you to feel it. This fresh content―formatted into a simply daily format―help the truth of Heaven move from head knowledge to lived hope.Q: How long does each devotion take to read?

A: Each of the 60 devotions is designed for 5–10 minutes of focused reading. They’re self-contained, so you can work through them in daily order or open to a specific entry as your circumstances call for it. The format is intentionally short ― substantial enough to be meaningful, short enough to actually fit the morning.

Q: How is this different from other books about heaven?

A: Most books about heaven focus on what’s coming ― the geography, the reunion, the rewards. Jennifer Rothschild’s approach reads Scripture’s vision of heaven backward into the present. Each devotion asks not just “what is heaven like?” but “what does heaven change about today?” The result stays grounded in real, everyday life rather than speculation about what’s ahead.
